Our curriculum is designed for our students. Every cohort is unique and therefore each year we review and adapt our offer. At the heart of our academic curriculum is the belief that a broad and balanced subject offer enables our students to flourish and enjoy learning at our school.

Alongside small class sizes, our highly skilled teachers develop programmes of study that can allow each student to make superb progress in a tailored curriculum whilst retaining the best aspects of the National Curriculum.

We encourage students to grow and explore their talents and interests, ensuring that they are stretched and supported in all academic areas and in the wider curriculum.

Wednesday afternoon is given over to co-curricular activities; we offer a broad variety of on and off site activities; there really is something that will appeal to everyone!

We recognise the importance of PSHE and as a result, students in Year 7 are given two timetabled lessons per week. This is to ensure they are well supported and integrated into the ethos – the two lessons cover a range of key areas in terms of their emotional wellbeing and mental health as well as covering aspects of mindfulness and exercise to promote physical wellbeing too.
