SGSE has made a fantastic start to the cross country season, with every Prep and KS3 student taking part in and completing the school Fun Run. Students then carried that enthusiasm into the South Birmingham Championships, where there were some excellent individual performances across a number of age groups. These included second, third and fourth places in the U13 Boys’ event, fourth place in the U15 Girls’ event and fifth place in the U15 Boys’ event. Seven students have now qualified to represent South Birmingham at the West Midlands Championships — a fantastic achievement and a brilliant start to the season.
