Students enjoyed an inspiring trip to Barcelona where they explored Mathematics in the world around them. They had a tour of the Sagrada Familia, enjoyed the Science Museum and went on the Barcelona Metro to the Park Güell. They saw many of the designs of Antoni Gaudi which were often mathematical with mosaics and columns as well as some sculptures taking their form from nature.

They also went to Las Ramblas and visited a churro parlour where students all had churros and chocolate while completing a maths activity on currency exchange. Students also enjoyed a tour of The Nou Camp too.

It was a brilliant trip, with lots of memories made!
