Going for Gold!

St George’s School has once again been awarded the School Games Mark Gold Award, recognising the fantastic engagement and participation of our students in competitive school sport.

Launched in 2012, The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme facilitated by The Youth Sport Trust. It aims to reward schools for their commitment to the development of Physical Education and School Sport across their curriculum and in the community. We are delighted to have been recognised, once again, for our success in this area.

As part of our Enrichment provision for Year 7-13, we have a range of sporting activities on offer involving Squash, Swimming, Climbing and Fitness. Over the past two terms, there have been 15 extra-curricular clubs available each week including Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Dodgeball, Running, Tchoukball and Volleyball.
