SGSE PTA is our Parent Teacher Association. The mission of our PTA is to support the school by providing resources to enhance the learning environment and student experiences.

We are dedicated to enriching our children’s educational provision, health, and well-being through strong family and community partnership with the school.

What do we do?

SGSE PTA brings together parents, teachers, and students to raise funds and strengthen the partnership within the school community. The funds that are raised by the PTA are used to develop and enhance provision across all aspects of school life.

To date, SGSE PTA have contributed to the Lower School Zen Garden, Upper School recreational seating, additional equipment for the library, new speakers and microphones for the Performing Arts Department as well as purchasing two new 3D printers for Design Technology.

Each year, the PTA is the driving force behind our Summer Fayre. This is a wonderful event for the whole community which is not only enjoyable but an excellent fundraiser.

The PTA are also an integral part of the support given to the Performing Arts Department, regularly running the interval drinks and snacks on performance evenings.

Why should I join the PTA?

We encourage all parents of the St George’s community to get involved during some part of their child’s time at the school. There are many ways in which parents can contribute to supporting the school throughout the academic calendar. SGSE PTA is not just about raising funds and there are a range of ways in which parents are able to support the school.
