Warley Woods Nature Walk

On a cold Spring morning, Early Years went to explore nature in Warley Woods.

The children walked over roots of trees, jumped the muddy paths, ambled through the trees and stomped in the leaves.

Standing still we stopped and listened to the birds singing. We spotted robins, blackbirds, parakeets and squirrels. The daffodils were out and there were the first signs of blossom on the trees.

The children had fun playing in the nature park, challenging themselves to do new things like walking along the balance beam, climbing over and around the wooden serpent, running up and down hills and whizzing down the long slide.

They had a lovely morning and we had a lot of fun!
