Year 5 visited the National Space Centre in Leicester this half term. They have been exploring space during Science and the trip was fantastic opportunity to enhance their learning.

The children climbed 144 steps to reach the top of the rocket tower, where they saw a real piece of moon rock and found out about the history of space travel along the way. The children also took part in a bespoke workshop about rocket science, which included a model rocket launch.

It was an enriching and exciting experience, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
