Overview
Students in Reception - Year 6
The Lower School Day starts at 8.30am, with on-site supervision available every day from 8.00am–8.30am. Each day starts with Registration and a welcome activity.
Pre-school and Reception class are part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Their day is broken into manageable sections of time. They have ample opportunity to explore, play and have direct teaching activities.
In Years 1 – 6 there are six lessons in a school day. Most days students will have three lessons in the morning and a further three lessons following lunch.
Students have a fifteen-minute break time each morning, and lunch break is an hour which provides ample time to eat and socialise with peers.
Afternoon Registration takes place at 1.00pm.
The School Day finishes at 3.20 for EYFS and 3.30 for the rest of Lower School. The School finishes at midday on the last day of each term.
We offer a range of after school clubs and activities during the week (there is something to suit all interests), as well as our After Care provision which is run by familiar school staff, providing continuity of care throughout the day.
