Exam Results

The attached pages show St. George’s School Results for summer 2007.

They refer to the Year 11 and 6th Form students who took public examinations last year.

Please note that St. George’s School does not insist that students must be placed in their chronological year group. For most classes we have students a year older and/or a year younger than the majority in that year. We believe it important to provide the correct level of education for the individual, rather than be forced into common age groups. This affects the examination statistics which appear in the National League Tables, where data is collected by age only. St. George’s School regularly appears to record 10% (say) of students failing to pass any GCSEs at all. This refers to those children who are in the year below their chronological age and who will be sitting their examinations the following year.
