St. George’s School, Edgbaston opened in September 1999 as Birmingham’s first Independent School to offer a complete education to both boys and girls between the ages of 2½ and 18.

Occupying the Georgian buildings of the former Edgbaston Church of England College for Girls in the spacious grounds of the Calthorpe Estate, with close proximity to Birmingham city centre, the school has been substantially modernised with new buildings to meet expanding educational needs and developments.
